Individual Therapy Services

I love helping individuals get relief from the weight of stress and mental health struggles. I have a wealth of experience working with individuals struggling with mood disorders, suicidal thoughts, and who use self-harming coping strategies. I have unique expertise working with teenagers with complex trauma.
I work with my clients so that, together, we can find a path forward that brings comfort, connection and healing.

Individual Therapy for Adults and Teens

I provide in-person and virtual services. Individual therapy sessions are between 50 and 60 minutes in duration. Session frequency can vary over the treatment period, depending on the specific therapy goal and the progression of treatment.

Trauma Focused Therapy

Trauma Focused Therapy recognizes and emphasizes understanding how trauma impacts an individuals mental, behavioural, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.  This type of therapy is rooted in understanding the connection between the trauma experience and the individuals emotional and behavioural responses.

What types of issues do you address in adult and teen therapy?

I address a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and trauma. For teens, I specialize in addressing unique challenges faced during adolescence, as well as early struggles with mood and anxiety.

How long does a therapy session typically last?

Sessions typically last 50 minutes for individuals. 80 minute sessions can be arranged.   The frequency of sessions can be discussed and tailored to individual needs.

Do you offer online therapy for adults and teens?

Yes, I offer secure and confidential online therapy options for both adults and teens. This allows for flexibility and accessibility in receiving therapeutic support.

How much does therapy cost, and do you accept insurance?

Fee: $160/50 minute session.

I provide documentation for clients to submit to their insurance for possible reimbursement.

What can I expect in the first therapy session?

The first session involves discussing your goals, concerns, and getting to know each other. It’s an opportunity to ensure that I am the right fit for your therapeutic needs.

How confidential is therapy?

Your privacy is of the utmost importance. I adhere to strict confidentiality standards, and your information is kept confidential unless there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law.

What age range do you provide therapy for?

I provide therapy services for individuals ages 11 and up.  When working with younger clients it is common to also provide support to caregivers.
