HOW CAN I HELP?

Therapy Services

I provide individual therapy to teens and adults who want to understand themselves more deeply and move beyond old patterns that keep them stuck.

I often support people who are:

  • Living with the impacts of complex trauma or difficult past experiences

  • Struggling with low self-worth or self-criticism

  • Finding it hard to feel secure or connected in relationships

  • Caught in patterns of behaviour or emotional reactions they’d like to change

  • Overwhelmed by their thoughts

  • Wanting to feel more at ease and authentic in their day-to-day life

  • Struggling with thoughts of hopelessness or suicide

  • Who use self harm as a coping strategy.

SOLUTIONS TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS

My Approach

Therapy is a space to slow down, talk things through, and make sense of what’s been hard.

Therapy with me is relaxed and conversational - a space where you can speak openly and be heard. At the same time, I guide our work with clear focus and confidence, so you know that what we’re doing has direction and purpose.

Together, we explore your experiences in a way that feels manageable, meaningful, and hopeful. My goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly and find new ways of moving through life that feels easier and more fulfilling.

A therapy session with me should feel gentle, warm, and surprisingly natural - almost like sitting down with a friend and your favourite warm drink.

My hope is to make it easy to feel safe with with me, to make hard moments feel lighter and even find a little humour where we can. When you're upset or overwhelmed, my role is to listen, understand, and help you make sense of what’s happening without ever dismissing or judging.

My goal is to build a safe, comfortable environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings to create space for insight, healing, and lasting change.

Honouring Land, Identity & Connection

I recognize that my work takes place on the traditional land of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Wendat, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation in the area now known as Georgetown. I also grew up along the shores of Lake Huron, the traditional land of the Attawandaron and Ojibway peoples. The land has long offered connection, grounding, and belonging-and I hold gratitude for that every day.

In my practice, I aim to bring that same sense of safety and respect into the therapy space. I’m mindful of the privileges I hold and the ways they shape my perspective and relationships. All neurotypes, sexual orientations, gender identities and lifestyles are welcome here. My hope is that everyone who enters my space feels seen, accepted, and supported as they are.

Let's connect.

If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honoured to connect.
